Why I stopped making 'more content' — and started leading it
Most growing businesses don’t need more “content”. They need better creative leadership — someone senior enough to tell them the truth about the work before it goes out the door.
I’ve spent years on both sides of that: directing the films, and sitting beside the founders who commission them. The pattern is almost always the same.
More isn’t the problem
Teams rarely struggle to make things. They struggle to make the right things, consistently, with a point of view. Volume without a spine just dilutes a brand.
What creative leadership actually does
- Sets the bar, then holds it — from the idea to the version that ships.
- Kills the safe, forgettable option before it wastes a budget.
- Gives founders an honest second opinion they can’t get from a yes-and agency.
If that sounds like what you need — let’s talk.
